Volunteer Overview

WE CARE offers a number of opportunities to get involved to make Palestine a more connected, caring community. Here are just a few of them:

1. Become a member of the WE CARE Renewal team: Simply sign up to do one act of kindness in your neighborhood. Plus, you'll get a sign for your yard!

2. Become a member of our Action Team: This group meets monthly to plan activities and advance the goals of our organization. The only requirement is a willing heart and the desire to get to know others throughout the community. 

3. Become a Block Leader: WE CARE Palestine is looking for private citizens in all neighborhoods who are willing to reach out on the block where they live to forge relationships that are more than a passing wave or neighborly hello. As a Block leader, you will receive training and support to build friendships on your block. You will also join with other Block leaders from across the city on a regular basis to develop relationships with neighbors across the city.

4. Become a Friend of WE CARE: We're seeking individuals, local businesses and organizations to support our cause through sponsorships. Donate at Bronze ($250), Silver ($500) or Gold ($1,000) levels and receive a sign for your home or business and recognition on our website and at WE CARE activities.
