Volunteer Overview

WE CARE offers a number of opportunities to get involved to make Palestine a more connected, caring community. Here are just a few of them:

1. Become a WE CARE PARTNER: Do you commit to respecting others and doing acts of caring in the community?  Then YOU are needed to be a partner in making ours WE CARE community. This will make you part of the most numerous, most diverse team in town. Plus, you will get a sign for your yard.

2. Become a WE CARE NEIGHBOR:  WE CARE Palestine is looking for private citizens in all neighborhoods who are willing to reach out on the block where they live to forge relationships that are more than a passing wave or neighborly hello. As a WC Neighbor, you will receive training and support to build friendships on your block. You will also join with other WC Neighbors on a quarterly basis to develop relationships with neighbors across the city and the Greater Palestine area.

3. Become a member of our Action Team: This group meets monthly to plan activities and advance the goals of our organization. The only requirement is a willing heart and the desire to get to know others throughout the community. 

4. Become a Friend/Donor of WE CARE: We're seeking individuals, local businesses and organizations to support our cause through sponsorships. Donate at Bronze ($250), Silver ($500) or Gold ($1,000) levels and receive a sign for your home or business and recognition on our website and at WE CARE activities.
